I've always loved arts and crafts, especially needlecrafts, ever since I learned to knit and sew at junior school. I made my first miniature bear when I was about 13 and over the years I've had a dabble with many different hobbies. Then some years ago I went to the Alexandra Palace Bear show and came home with two bear kits. That was it - I was hooked! Soon after that, I began designing my own patterns and now work full time at bear making.

My bears range from about 2 - 5 inches tall and I like to use the best quality materials available. I think it is important for a bear to feel as good as it looks and so I only ever part fill my bears tummies with pellets. That way, they feel cuddly and soft - even if they are only 3 inches tall! I love to make weighted bears with wobbly heads so that when you hold one inyour hand, it nestles into your palm and when the head lolls to one side it seems to come alive!
