My name is Ruth Maccallum (I think I must be an oldie at 48,compared to the rest of you young things!) We have lived in Newcastle upon Tyne for some years, we being husband Duncan, our two children and I. Both kids have just about flown the nest now. James (22) is in Manchester at Uni, Fiona (19) awaits her A level results on Thursday! Then off she goes too (oh dear its all rather sad!). To get back on track I am a keen collector of old British bears and artist bears. I enjoy my work as a nursery nurse with the tinies in the nursery class at a small village school near by and in my spare time love to make bears.
