Well, I think I may be one of the babies of the list as I am only just 22! I've been making bears for about 7 years, and for my 15th birthday my parents sent me on a pattern design course with Vanessa Littleboy, which set me off on this mad mad road!

I'm from Rossendale in Lancashire and currently working for a PGCE (Primary) in Workington, Cumbria, but travelling home at weekends to see my fiance!

Anyway I started collecting Colour Box Miniatures when I was about 11 or 12, and now have almost every figurine ever made - seriously...and that's over 2000 of them! All in my bedroom too! And yes, I'm a little spoilt!! Colour Box set me onto the world of bear collecting and I have a hug of over 200 artist bears, and now I make my own. I don't have much time for bear making between teacher training and travelling 300 miles each weekend, but my Mum also makes bears and her and my Dad exhibit at some fairs in the North West for me.

I am getting married this year on August 10th, and yes, there will be a slight bear theme. I am currently converting my fiance to bears, and he has made his very first ted which is brilliant! I am busy filling our house with all the bears and Colour Box from my parents' house! I don't have much time at the moment, and my website desperately needs updating, but 'one day soon' seems to be my motto!
