I live in the west midlands and have two children, Charlotte is 9 and Jack is four and wondering at present whether to go through it all again! I am a senior staff nurse looking after ladies with cancer for 3 days a week and use my other four days to make my bears, it really should be three with 1 day for housework but you know how it is! For as long as I can remember I have always enjoyed sewing then came the bear collecting. In december 98 I thought I would merge the two , and enjoyed it so much that I started designing my own patterns and started to advertise in the mags last August ( yes happy anniversary to me too!) so here I am.

I said I would never do fairs but I`ve got four booked between Sept. and Nov. I`ve only done two so far and have got extremly stressed on both occassions which leads me to run away and let Darren get on with it ! so he`s set himself up as chief sales exec. hence my problems at the weekend! Ruth told me about the list so I joined . I really enjoy the light hearted as well as the serious chat - long may it continue I am looking forward to meeting others from the list at kensington and if all of you that are exhibiting dont mind I shall come and introduce myself ( if your not over run with customers that is!)
