Actually Bears are the husband and wife team of Jackie & Steve Slade, who have become well known in both the UK and abroad since they launched their bears in early 1998. Probably best known for her innovative 'Tubby Teds' range, Jackie's bears have been featured regularly in all the major bear magazines and she has also written numerous magazine features - including the Teddy Bear Times 'Cybearspace' series.

Having taken a short break from the world of bears to have daughter Lauren (now a lively 2 year old!) Jackie and Steve have relaunched their website in the familiar Actually Bears style. Having retained many loyal customers over the last two years, Jackie has continued to create her bears and find homes for them via regular mailings. This slower pace has also meant that she has managed to fulfil a long held ambition to design, create and launch a range of miniature bears too - the LITTLE WONDERS™ collection - which have already proven very popular.

Jackie & Steve are delighted to be back on the internet with their trademark website. The site has welcomed over 30,000 visitors since it's launch back in 1998 and as a result, the bears have found homes all over the world, including Alaska, France, Germany, USA, Australia, Thailand, New Zealand, Japan and South Africa! The website was created and is maintained entirely by Jackie and is updated on a regular basis.

All the bears are created entirely and exclusively by Jackie.
