Hello all, for those of you who do not know me, I am 40 years old, I live in Milton Keynes, (someone has to!) and I have a five year old daughter, Josephine, and a stepson, Jason who is 15 nearly 16, and a stepdaughter who is 21. She has a son, and is expecting a daughter by the end of August (I truely hope it is a girl because she is going to be so disappointed if not!). In response to Carol's email about me being certified, my DH says that should have happened a long time ago. I started making bears in April 1998, we took my mother-in-law to the NEC to brighten up her day after having to pass on some bad news. I was overwhelmed when we got there, my MIL had been making bears for sometime and I was already curious. I bought a kit from Christies, and the rest is history.

I gave up work to look after Josephine when she started school to cope with the 9-11.30 am bit, now she is full-time and settled I have applied for another job, quite different to what I have been doing, used to be a Finance Director. I have an interview next Tuesday 22nd, at a school, which would be term-time and school hours. Still don't know what I want to be when I grow up, just sensible maybe!! Today I am going to rewrite my website, I have been learning HTML, yawwwwwn! but will hopefully put it to good use. I have made so many friends since being on this list which I think is excellent. Long may it continue!!!
