I am Beatrix and was born and bred in Dortmund in Germany. ( so watch out, my bears are bilingual!)
I live with my husband, daughter and my two dogs in Shrewsbury and after living in England since 1992 feel very much at home here and love England.
Bear Making started of as a hobby nearly 10 years ago and has now become a way of life for me (and the rest of the family who has got to put up with all my mess).
I always been very creative and in my old life back in Germany I used to work as a doctors assistant in a busy surgery. I never thought that my life would change so much.
Since 4 years I have been making bears full time and enjoy it very much.
I won't start talking about age so, I read on Fiona's profile that she is worried about the big 40.....that's a long time ago for me now!
